2010 Sparkling Starry Soirèe Fundraiser for Starlight Children’s Foundation!

Nouveau Riche Community Members joined in the annual celebration to show their support of Starlight Children’s Foundation™ and the many lives it touches. The 2010 event was held on March 13th in Scottsdale, Arizona, at a luxurious private residence. Guests enjoyed a fun-filled evening of entertainment, dancing, good food and company, as well as a live silent auction with Nouveau Riche Instructor Mark Kohler serving as emcee for the festivities.

During this special evening, Nouveau Riche CEO Jim Piccolo’s tremendous humanitarian efforts and support of Starlight were recognized with an award named after him - the "Jim Piccolo Humanitarian Award”! As one of the highest honors presented by Starlight, this award pays tribute to outstanding individuals - both nationally and community-based - who have demonstrated extreme dedication to "brightening the lives" of seriously ill children and their families through their work and philanthropic efforts.

Attendees also had the privilege of hearing first-hand from Audrey, a Starlight Teen, about the incredible impact Starlight has had on her life and that of her family members. Read more about 17-year-old Audrey’s story here, and see the sheer power of Starlight Children’s Foundation in action.
