Featured in Success from Home magazine, September 2008 As a child, Chris watched his mom barely get by on welfare and section 8 housing, which motivated him to one day become a successful business owner and achieve financial freedom to help his family. He found that he was "psychologically unemployable" as his dreams were always much bigger than what he could produce from a job. In the late 90's he watched several young entrepreneurs get wealthy in the Silicon Valley by starting up Internet companies. So, at age 20, he decided to launch his own Web site design and marketing business out of his home, which was a 250 square foot studio in Santa Cruz, CA. A few years later he met his beautiful wife Vanessa and relocated to Roseville, CA, to take his business to the next level. He teamed up with Google and, in 2005, his business finally took off. For the first time in his life he was earning six figures! Chris soon learned the hard way that as his income would rise, his expenses would rise to match it, and he was just broke at a higher level. When Chris realized that he wanted to own a portfolio of cash flow positive real estate to produce passive income, he had no idea how to get started. He watched as several friends purchased real estate on speculation, but always feared taking action himself - plus his business was running him with 15+ hour days just to keep going! His internet business started declining, which meant even more hours behind a computer for less money, and eventually it was too much to handle. He took his entire savings and left his career to become a loan officer and work his way back up, but several months later he had depleted his savings and was barely making enough to get by. By June of 2006, Chris and Vanessa had hit rock bottom. With credit scores in the 400's and negative bank accounts, they humbly had to borrow from friends and family just to pay rent. At the time they were devastated, but what looked like a major disappointment was actually a blessing from GOD in disguise! It was at this moment in time that a friend introduced them to Nouveau Riche and within 90 days their lives had completely changed. They earned enough income to pay off their debts, go full time with Nouveau Riche and save their good friend from foreclosure. Less than two years later, they earned well over half a million dollars in income, worked together as Independent Regional Associates for the Northern California, Nevada, and Oregon region, and have helped dozens of people to change their lives as well! Chris has also realized one of his biggest dreams - retiring his mom early from her job! In September 2008, Chris was promoted to the prestigious position of Independent National Associate for North Carolina and Virginia and in November of 2009 he expanded his territory into Washington, D.C. Chris is looking forward to building a successful marketing team in his newly expanded region and to continuing on the path of "paying it forward" to the Nouveau Riche Community! Chris shares what keeps him motivated, stating "My key to success is putting God first, family second, and always Taking Massive Action!"

A retired 20-year veteran of the Air Force, James Leis realized, during his tenure with the military, that he would have to supplement his income with secondary jobs or businesses in order to raise his standard of living. With this in mind, he tried his hand at a few MLM companies, only to find that the income always fell short of his expectations. Three years prior to retiring from the military, James became a Real Estate agent and co-owner of his own company. Within two months, he was able to sell his Real Estate company, and within six months, his wife Lisa, was able to comfortably leave her full- time Pharmaceutical Sales job. Lisa Leis, a graduate of Northwestern University, decided to continue her education in the nursing program at the University of Illinois, Chicago. After years in the medical field as a registered nurse and seven years in Pharmaceutical Sales, she realized that it was only the “higher-ups” on the corporate ladder who were truly making the big money. She knew it was time to secure her own financial future. After finding Nouveau Riche, with her husband James, she finally had the opportunity to learn what she could do to achieve financial security. "Formal education never taught me about my 401K or investing for passive income, let alone other financial literacy skills…” Lisa declares, “I just never realized what I didn’t know!"
