12/21/09: “The General’s” Business Boot Camp delivered on its promise of providing three intense days of training to help get attendees in tip-top business shape. Master Trainer Bob Snyder pulled out all the “ammo” with never before presented training material. Plus, Master Entrepreneur Jim Piccolo imparted his knowledge of time management, relationship building, working with a team, being a true leader, and more. Attendees learned key business aspects, such as balancing the effort of recruiting and retailing, starting from scratch and building it BIG in new markets, how successful time management and a healthy balance can help lead to a happy life, and more.

12/21/09: Winners of the 120-Day Challenge were announced and rewarded during the Nouveau Riche 2009 Riche Awards, an elegant affair held on Saturday, December19th. In the challenge, big results were achieved all over the country, making for a close competition. ISAs who put forth the extra effort rose to the top, illustrating that when human performance is measured, it improves. 12/9/09: The Nouveau Riche Community has raised over $72k to support The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation (FEPF). Since the debut of its on-site booth at the Nouveau Riche College in October 2008, The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation (FEPF) has received tremendous support from the Nouveau Riche (NR) Community, enabling the foundation to support many national and local charities. FEPF is pleased to announce that, as of the October 2009 Nouveau Riche Real Estate Investment College, total funds raised by the NR Community during the five week-long College sessions exceeds $72k. 10/19/09: Due to popular demand and the introduction of the new systematized sales process, Nouveau Riche proudly extended the 90-Day Challenge to a 120-Day Challenge. During the challenge, individual and team performances will be measured and awarded based on specific criteria during the challenge period. All awards will be handed out at a formal awards ceremony during the December 2009 College week. 10/13/09: "Pay it forward" is a way of life in the Nouveau Riche Community, as was evident by the generosity shown at The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation (FEPF) Booth during the October 2009 Real Estate Investment College (October 5th-9th). During the College, Community Members banded together in a "Teacher of the Year" voting contest where they cast their votes for their favorite instructor and raised over $7,000 to support the Starlight Foundation/Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation Prom Program (hosted by The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation, Nouveau Riche and Starlight) for terminally and chronically ill teens. The "Teacher of the Year" award went to Nouveau Riche Instructor Chris Albin who received a handmade, framed picture from a Starlight child and a custom "Nouveau Riche High" letter sweater. The largest one-sum donor, who contributed $625, also received a custom sweater.

Throughout the week, Community Members also participated in a Silent Auction where they had the chance to bid on six items autographed by rock legend Alice Cooper as well as a Fender guitar that will be personally autographed for the winner! The auction raised over $3,000 to support the Solid Rock Foundation's "The Rock" Teen Center project.

Finally, Community Members had the golden opportunity to make a difference in their lives and others by purchasing the newly released book, Three Feet from Gold, by best-selling authors Sharon L. Lechter and Greg S. Reid, as well as tickets to the Three Feet from Gold event (hosted by The Napoleon Hill Foundation). Twenty-five percent of all sales proceeds benefitted the Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation’s efforts to support several worthy national and local charities.

9/28/09: Nouveau Riche’s BRAND NEW Independent Sales Associate Compensation Plan is now here. 9/21/09: After the highly successful launch of Nouveau Riche’s first-ever Teen Financial Literacy (TFL) Program for teens ages 13-17 at its July 2009 Real Estate Investment College, Nouveau Riche is pleased to announce the offer to participate in its second session to be held on October 10, 2009 in Glendale, AZ. The offer is open to teen-based charitable organizations that meet specified registration criteria. Through TFL, Nouveau Riche takes a huge step forward in bridging the often wide gap between what teens know about finances and what's actually taught in traditional school settings. The mission of the program is "to offer teenagers a collaborative learning environment with engaging, relevant instruction that provides meaning in academic experiences and builds skillsets for the future."

Nouveau Riche’s TFL class is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible participants. The registration deadline for the October session is Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 8:30pm. 7/23/09: Nouveau Riche Real Estate Investment College held its first-ever Teen Financial Literacy class on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Co-taught by Nouveau Riche Instructors Craig Cottrell and Phillip Lechter, nearly 50 teens, ages 13-17, participated in this interactive, eye-opening class, where they learned key principles on managing money now and in the future. Through exploratory discussions, breakout application exercises, and reflective discussions on basics of budgeting and smart spending, financial management vehicles, credit, and more, students gained a fundamental understanding of financial literacy and how this knowledge can empower them. 7/23/09:Thanks to the support of Nouveau Riche Community Members, The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation (FEPF) raised over $20,000 for two exceptional children’s charities - the Starlight Foundation and Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Foundation – at Nouveau Riche’s July 2009 Real Estate Investment College.

On Monday, July 13th, the week long FEPF booth kicked off with fun and interactive contests, including a prom/senior photo “Who’s Who?” and voting for “Nouveau Riche High” Prom King and Queen. Proceeds from these activities totaled $10,000 and will benefit the Starlight Foundation in sponsoring special proms nationwide for seriously ill teenagers.

On Thursday, July 16th, rock legend Alice Cooper paid a visit to the Nouveau Riche Community at the “Cooler than Cool” social gathering where he personally autographed stone tiles, representing the cost of building one square foot of “The Rock” teen center. Over $11,000 was raised to help build this remarkable teen center, and participating donors had the chance to take a photo with the iconic rocker himself.

6/16/09: Almost one year after attending the first-ever White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives Compassion in Action Roundtable on Financial Literacy, Nouveau Riche CEO Jim Piccolo returns to Washington D.C. for the vitally important Global Financial Literacy Summit on June 17th. Headlining this invitation-only Summit is U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke “helping America and the world to begin the process of effectively ‘turning the page,’ towards viable long-term, systemic and sustainable solutions to our economic problems.” (http://summit09.operationhope.org/) Keynote speakers include FDIC Chair Sheila Bair and civil rights icon and HOPE global spokesman Ambassador Andrew Young, principal aide to the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., among other notable speakers. Metro Area, where he will share his knowledge about financial literacy and building a brighter, more prosperous future. 4/25/09: On Saturday, April 25th, select members of the “Dream Team,” lead by Independent National Associates Andre and Tami Popa, in the Los Angeles/Central California market, experienced R.A.W.™ (Responsible Accumulation of Wealth) in ACTION! The Popas sponsored a contest to honor the team’s top five income earners and newly certified ISAs. This elite group was treated to a private training with none other than Jim Piccolo and the never-before-assembled A-List of Community Benefit Presidents, followed by a private social mixer at the Popa’s home, PLUS—V.I.P. tickets to William Shatner’s 19th Annual Hollywood Charity Horse Show (HCHS)! 4/6/09 – The April 6, 2009 “Infinite Possibilities” special event, featuring Nouveau Riche Co-founders Jim Piccolo and Bob Snyder, rocked the house with life-changing announcements to drive Nouveau Riche Community Members to reach new levels of success. “The General” Bob Snyder began the evening’s announcements by presenting “Third Grade Heroes” from Arrowhead Elementary School with “The Freedom Award”, on behalf of The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation, in recognition of their outstanding efforts to encourage and support our troops stationed overseas. These third graders “make you understand we can make a difference,” remarked Mr. Snyder. Next up, “The General” got to the heart of NR’s solution to the recession: the E.P.I.C. Solution. He shared the importance of “painting the picture of possibility for others,” showing them what NR offers, and exploring options for them to participate. Bob Snyder took pleasure in introducing one more option: FINANCING for Nouveau Riche’s products, provided by Business Credit Services! The excitement did not end there though. The night’s festivities culminated in Master Entrepreneur and Nouveau Riche CEO Jim Piccolo’s message about changing the way you think about education. 4/4/09: More than 130 seriously ill children and family members enjoyed the “Best of the West Carnival” on Saturday, April 4th, thanks to Nouveau Riche and The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation. These organizations rounded up over 75 volunteers from all across the United States for this Great Escape event to help the children and their family members engage in a day of fun away from the hospital at MacDonald’s Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ. The event featured hayrides; game booths, including lasso roping, penny pitching, cowboy hat toss, and stick-horse racing; a strolling cowboy singer; a magic show; caricature drawing; face painting; and Earl Grey, the trick pony. A barbeque, snow cones and cotton candy completed the festivities.

3/21/09: Honorary Chairs Jim and Mary Piccolo and Starlight Children’s Foundation Arizona hosted its annual Sparkling Starry Soirée on March 21, 2009, helping to raise $32,000 for programs dedicated to helping seriously ill children and their families, in addition to a Fun Center™ and two PC Pals® to be provided to local hospitals. Emcee for the evening, Nouveau Riche Instructor and Community Benefit Companies President, Mark J. Kohler introduced those that contributed to the evening. Starlight also recognized Honorary Chairman Jim Piccolo, founder of the Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation and president of Nouveau Riche Corporation, for his many contributions. 3/13/09 – Understanding the critical importance of financial literacy, Nouveau Riche is taking a huge step in educating our children. Beginning in July, 2009, Regents Students will have the opportunity to bring their teens (one teen per Regents Student) to College for the new Teen Financial Literacy class—for FREE! Teenagers, aged 13-17, of Regents Tuition students will have the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging classes that utilize rich media to educate outside of the norms on topics like budgeting, living within your means, checking account management, fiscal responsibility, credit, and much more. Nouveau Riche believes in not only teaching the essentials on entrepreneurship and real estate investing, but also the fundamentals of financial literacy. Nouveau Riche and the College Advisory Board have conducted extensive research on the best methods of keeping teenagers engaged in their learning. This class will captivate teens with information to improve their spending habits for years to come. Nouveau Riche Instructor and creator of the first college-credited course on financial literacy in the country, Craig Cottrell, takes the lead in educating youth through this program. During this Webinar, Nouveau Riche’s Customer Care Manager, Nicole Friedl, walked ITAs and ISAs through utilizing C.A.M.S.™ for greater efficiency in managing their event guests before, during and after events, making it easier than ever to get and stay organized. Plus, Certified ISAs learned how they can begin scheduling events through this new system.
